Georgia and South Ossetia Update 26a

Update as of 0900 Eastern Time / 1700 Tbilisi Time:

President Mikhiel Saakashvili of Georgia just finished giving a news conference on CNN and called for the United States to do more. He called for harsher language from Washington and more support. He also cautioned that , "America is losing the region." He also said that if Russian forces attack Tbilisi that the Georgians would defend it with every drop of their blood.

From Moscow as being reported from CNN on TV that the Russian Military is moving but not moving on Tbilisi. It is believed that they may be moving to an abandoned Georgian Military Base. There is no word on why though.

It also is being reported that the Russian Forces that were on the highway towards Tbilisi may have turned off to that Military Base or a town. No additional word on why.
