Time Off

As many of you have noticed, the posting has declined exponentially. Theres a couple reasons for it. The main one is that I am struggling with what subjects I can appropriately offer opinions. I won't go into details, but I've started many a blog entry lately and than realized there was no way I could publish it.

I have been struggling with how to proceed, and have been trying to decide which direction to take. Instead of making a decision quickly though, Ill be taking some time off, and figuring out how I wish to go forward.

I hope all of you are doing well, and I hope you aren't that disappointed.

Hope to be talking, discussing, and discoursing with all of you again soon.

Until than....God Bless, God Bless our Soldiers and their Families, and God Bless the United States of America.

It has been my experience that folks who are in the military are operating under cetain constraints that those of us who are in the civilian world do not have to deal with. I expect that this makes it difficult sometimes when you wish to voice an opinion or share certain experiences. I thank you for sharing what you can and appreciate your service. So take whatever time you need and we will be waiting for you when you are ready to post again.

Dear Major,

I just came across your blog accidentally as it is linked to the waronterrornews site. I realize the conflict you must be having regarding what is kosher to post and not. With a career and family on the line there is clearly a cost involved.

My encouragement is to write what you know to be true and find a way to get it out there now. Even if you have to go under a pseudo-name. Your position and experience offer up an insight that the the rest of us need to hear. Especially in regards to our military and the effects of the wars, changing social policy, etc.

With the direction our country is heading do you really want to go silent and allow the degeneration to go unchallenged?
